Benny Goodman was playing his clarinet,
Harry James was blowing his horn.
The Latin beat was beginning.....swing was all the rage,
The hot spots of The Copa and El Morocco had finally come of age.

So join us in that era.....when real dancing and music were alive,
Come and bring back yesteryear.....learn to Cha Cha and to Jive.
You might be asking why we're doing this.....
What's the cause for celebration?
It's for the fiftieth anniversary of Joe and Anita's procreation!

Please dust off those dancing shoes,
and we'll work up an appetite,
First we have dance lessons......
then dining and dancing later that night.
Dancing lessons start promptly at 5:30
Saturday, April 1st is the date,
If you don't care to take the lessons,
You can join us for dinner at 8:00.

The fashion mode for the evening.....comfortable, casual chic,
May we suggest you leave your sneakers at home.....
We don't want to hear you squeak!
